This looks mighty interesting if not for the lack of an site adress, rss feed or any other way to find the “great debate” podcast..

Hey, Vince. ‘The Great Debate’ is only available on War Pig Radio, which is why you won’t see a website or RSS feed where the episodes can be downloaded.

How often do you change out the topic, then? Also, maybe consider archiving old ones? I’d love to hear what I missed before I discovered Warpig Radio.

We release a new episode every week. Right now, there are six episodes playing, a different one every day of the week with the most recent episode playing a second time on Saturday. The first episode is the only one that is no longer available.

I’ve been talking with Jim about what to do with The Great Debate, going forward. Your input is certainly welcome.

I’m wondering why you’ve chosen the 24 hour availability, ‘streaming’ method.
Certainly no one needs to tell you about regular podcasting as you
( Ed and Dan ) have Atomic Array and FTB.
Is there a tech or logistic advantage to this method? – Curious.

War Pig is available online for the individual listener, but the core reason for creating the station is so that your friendly local gaming shop has something relevant to play over the speakers during business hours. The idea is to provide them with informative and entertaining content.

That said, it’s also convenient. I don’t always want to cue up a particular show. Sometimes, I just want to listen to something and, while I don’t have a particular show in mind, I want something that is entertaining and informative.

War Pig is designed to give both groups, the FLGS owner and the internet listener, with great programming.

Just wanted to say thanks very much for your comments, guys. We’ve now put together a web site with an RSS feed that has an archive of the shows, accessible at the Home Page link above!
